  1. Update from CFOBs Branch Management Services Unit CFOB Union-Management Consultation Committee Meeting October 7, 2021

  2. Purpose To provide an update of the activities already accomplished and what is underway in the Branch Management Services Unit. 2

  3. Recap This unit is intended to provide dedicated capacity to advance corporate and Branch-wide initiatives within CFOB The goal is to improve coordination of efforts and advance some of CFOBs key corporate priorities for the Branch Such as those identified in the PSES, iBECs, Workplace Wellness Action Plan etc. This unit reports directly to the CFO Areas of focus: Information management and communications; Talent management and community development; Workplace wellness; Branch planning; Collective Staffing; and Succession planning Awards and Recognition 3

  4. What has been accomplished CFOB FI Development Program was created and CFO approved in June. A PG and FI Inventory has been created Onboarding toolkit was presented and approved . Completion rate of 97.6% for year end discussions (the highest rate in the department). Communication to CFOB staff has increased dramatically ( Quarterly Newsletters, Wednesday Wellness emails, Strategic planning placemat..) Our People Placement was created and shared with Employees. These are our commitments to our staff on workplace wellness, talent management, community development ect CFOB awards ceremony Several midi en fran ais and Excel in English were held. Townhall with the focus on Mental Health and an iBEC with the focus on Workload Management 4

What is underway The creation of a PSES action plan that will have concrete commitments for improvement Creating a succession plan for the Branch that will link in with Talent management and learning and development Updating information and structure of the CFOB Intranet and Internet content. CFOB Newsletter and ongoing weekly Wednesday Wellness emails Mid year reviews Workplace Wellness calendar of events (monthly) posted on Gcconnex and shared drive 5
