Truancy Process Update New Truancy Process Review Family/District Court Contact List 10th Judicial Circuit Court Family Division (Juvenile Detention) 70th District Court Saginaw County Prosecutor s Office Forms Review/Q & A
New Truancy Process Review First attendance letter sent from school. Second attendance letter sent from school. ISD is copied on school s second letter. Certified letter is sent from the ISD Truancy Officer. A copy of this letter will be sent to LEA Truancy Representative. Receipt of certified letter (signed card) will be sent to LEA. This takes approximately 2-3 weeks. District gathers required documentation. Please contact Vivienne Jaynes if assistance is needed to compile court packet. District does/does not file petition in Family/District Court.

10th Judicial Circuit Court Family Division (Juvenile Detention) Students (ages 10-17) that refuse to attend school. The filing of Complaint's/Petition s is now completed by your district s local police department. The Confidential Information Sheet along with the following additional required documentation: - Intervention Checklist - Students Birth Certificate - Detailed Attendance Report - Latest Report Card - Meeting Notes and Overview of Situation/Medical Issues - IEP/504 Plan - Behavior/Discipline Report - Letters Sent from School/ISD - School Attendance Agreement (signed by student) - LEA Contact Information
