Addressing the Challenge Please explain your proposal and how it addresses the city s described challenge? Does the project fit in with the Sustainable Development Goals? If yes, which ones and how?
Value Proposition What is new or innovative about your proposal?
Concept & Implementation Please describe the technical feasibility of your solution and the current stage of development? Provide a rough estimate of innovation completion for market deployment (time to market), determine if a pilot project implementation (proof of concept) is necessary. Indicate the main risks of launching the innovation to the market and how you plan to counter them.
Product Market Fit Please describe any research, engagement or modelling you have carried out that demonstrates your solution meets the requirements of its users. How do you plan to reach the early adopter partners /first customers to enter to market? What is the market potential (also define if it is domestic/international)? What is the size of the target market and which segment does the new product/service intend to target? Explain how the product/service will meet the market needs.
Business model Please describe the business model related to your proposal and the current stage of development? How will it generate revenue? Identify the revenue model, pricing, cost structure, and when revenue is likely to occur.
Competition Determine the existing competition and how the innovation is positioned in comparison to it? How will the solution win against the competition?
Go to Market Is the solution already on the market? Do you have any first customers? Do you have any plans/forecasts for raising investment (e.g.: business angels, venture capitals, public capital, etc.)? Provide information on the level and type of investment you have raised to date (if any)?
Team Key team members (e.g.: founders, partners, advisors)? How will you convince the expert team that your team has determination, strength and skills to achieve the innovation commercial success? What are the past business successes of the team (or its members)? What are the relevant skills and experience of the team working on the proposal, including relevant past projects?
