Outlook Updates on Athena SWG Tutorial Beam effects Updates on eAST Computing WG Updates on EIC SWG
Updates on Athena SWG Software deployment and tutorial The software is deployed simply by the use of singularities with linux-debian- x86_64 and a gcc-10; c++17 standards are used You can start following the tutorial from https://eic.phy.anl.gov/tutorials/eic_tutorial/ You go quite straightforward trough the different steps A person was identified to help on the dRICH Have a look to the slides on beam effects at the last meeting https://indico.bnl.gov/event/12022/ (effect are important in certain regions of eta/phi)
Updates on eAST First developers meeting on Tuesday: actions Have some 1000 ev in hepmc (done by me both in hepmc2 and 3) Have a magnetic field map (will be done by Markus) Import detectors (already done for Athena by Wouter)
Computing WG Composition: Jerome Laurent, Grahame Heyes and me + representatives from the proto-collaborations (up to two) For Athena is Wouter First action meeting on Monday: Regular contacts with ECCE already started For Athena will start soon For CORE no news First estimates from collaborations received. Will need extra resources
