  2. Status of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Requirements All personal care service providers are required to use EVV as of January 1, 2021 New EVV regulation was implemented on January 31, 2021 Award of contract for aggregator solution is pending CMS approval

  3. What is Happening Now? State agencies are reaching out to providers and participants who are not compliant with EVV CMS requires full compliance with no exceptions for all providers and participants MMAC is now enforcing EVV regulation

  4. Of Special Note When is it ok to use a paper timesheet to verify service delivery? Never! Does the participant need a landline in order to use EVV? No! Do live in caregivers need to use EVV? Yes!

  5. Whats Next? As soon as a contract for an aggregator solution is awarded details regarding integration will be available on the MO HealthNet webpage The aggregator solution contractor will work individually with each EVV vendor to verify requirements are met Training for access to and use of the aggregator solution will be provided
