Training objectives Training objectives At the end of this training, you will be able to: At the end of this training, you will be able to: Describe the indications, conditions, and contraindications for vacuum-assisted birth Explain the safety measures applicable to vacuum-assisted birth Describe potential complications in women and newborns Identify the fetal head position and flexion point Describe the preparation of the patient for vacuum-assisted birth Demonstrate the steps in the procedure of vacuum-assisted birth Demonstrate post-procedural care following vacuum-assisted birth, including active management of third stage of labor Demonstrate basic neonatal resuscitative care
