  2. Three ABSOLUTES of Marriage Wives a. Submit to your husbands as unto the Lord. b. As the church is subject to Christ, wives be subject to your own husbands in everything c. She is to reverence her husband 1. IT MUST BE PATTERNED AFTER CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH

  3. Husbands Three ABSOLUTES of Marriage a. As Christ is the head of the church, he (the husband) is the head of the wife. b. As Christ loved the church enough to give Himself for it, so must the husband love his wife. c. Even as the Lord cherishes the church, so ought the husband to cherish his wife. 1. IT MUST BE PATTERNED AFTER CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH
