Timeline for Workgroup Sent to Senates and ASVC for Review Reviewed and suggestions provided by Classified Senate (CS) and Associated Students VC Board (ASVC) Meeting to discuss suggestions provided CS and ASVC. Academic Senate (AS) conducted first reading and provided feedback Met with Workgroup (Teams and Email) to incorporate suggestions by AS before 2nd Reading. Taken back to AS for 2nd Reading Based on changes and suggestions by the Senates and ASVC, will need to send back for approval of most recent version. Submit to Executive Team Submit for Board Approval (April Meeting) Workgroup to continue working on Vision and Guiding Principles Dec. 2021 Feb. 2022 Feb. 2022 Mar. 2022 Spring 2022 Nov. 2021 Jan. 2022

Workgroup Draft Statement Ventura College is an open-access institution offering opportunities and skills to instill confidence for students to transform their own lives. Ventura College develops human potential by placing students at the center of their learning while supporting them in achieving their personal, academic, and career goals in an anti-racist, liberating, and inclusive environment. The college serves a highly diverse community by offering degrees, certificates, transfer and workforce preparation opportunities.
