Who are our students? Veterans Hazlewood Post 9/11 Voc Rehab 1606 Students don t have to identify as using benefits, but we tell them they should make you aware to better help with what you need to know. Dependents Hazlewood Post 9/11 35 / DEA You can view benefits use on SGASTDN (veteran tab), if you want to know for sure.
GI Bill What We Need: All classes approved for the student s degree plan. Why: The VA WILL the degree plan, including all Open Electives. WILLNOT NOTPAY PAYfor courses not on
Advisor Approval Open Electives Not on degree plan. Needs authorization. Full Time Status Internships & Student Teachers. Fill out form & have student bring it to us. Needs to be 30 hours/week or more to be useful. Parental Institution Form Taking extra classes at another school. Fill out form & have student bring it to us. Forms can be found on our website under the FORMS link. Rounding Out (Not really needing AA but, you should know)
Open Electives Student s degree plan requires __ hours of open/free electives. This current enrollment satisfies ___out of __ hours. The student has __remaining open/free elective hours to complete their degree requirements.
Majors & Minors Double Major Authorized if both majors are approved. Minors As part of an approved major. Multiple Objectives If all objectives are generally recognized as being reasonably related to a single career field. (p 85)
