  1. Scenario #1 As the Department SV President, you have been notified of possible inconsistencies at a local VFW Auxiliary where several members have complained about the Treasurer misappropriating funds. The members have repeatedly requested financial reports but there is always an excuse. In the rest of the scenarios, we will pretend you are the Department President. Scenario #2 An Auxiliary President calls you because they were banned from the Post for no reason. It was later discovered that a Post and Auxiliary member had an altercation over a football game. While exiting the Post the two members were informed by the Post Commander that they were banned from the Post. Scenario #3 A District President has repeatedly failed to respond to your phone calls and emails and has missed the last Council of Administration meeting without notice.

  2. Scenario #4 A member calls you because they feel the elections were rigged. The President would not let the virtual attendees vote. What do you do? Scenario #5 The Auxiliary President appointed an Investigating Committee at the beginning of the year. However, none of the members are at the meeting. You have 3 new applications to consider. What do you do? Scenario #6 You are on the suspension committee and only 4 members of the Auxiliary show up for the meetings. You have 2 new applications for membership. Can they vote in the new members?

  3. Scenario #7 You are instituting a new Auxiliary and only 9 members of the Auxiliary show up on the date of Institution. What happens next? Scenario #8 At National Convention, you pick up an award for your Chairman and their name is spelled wrong. What do you do? Scenario #9 The Auxiliary voted to donate 100 dollars to the National Home. The Secretary didn't put it in the minutes. What is the proper procedure?

  4. Scenario #10 The Auxiliary voted to donate 30 dollars to the National Home and the Treasurer heard and wrote the check for 40. What can be done about this? Scenario 11 The Auxiliary voted to have a debit card, now 3 members have access and are using that debit card. A member calls you to complain. What do you do? Scenario #12 Two Posts consolidated, now the Auxiliaries have consolidated. Which Auxiliary President will get to stay as the Auxiliary President?
