Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) For Students Who: 5 Required Categories 1. Are enrolled in and/or attending a recognized education program 2. Are ages 14 through 21 3. Have an IEP, a 504 plan, or a documented disability
Potentially Eligible Students for DVR Transition Services 2021-2022 High School Enrollment Data for Students with Disabilities* 158,449 students at Washington State were enrolled on October 1st of the 2021-22 school year and identified as Students with Disabilities using their most recent demographic record. 43,788 students at Washington State were enrolled on October 1st of the 2021-22 school year and identified as Section 504 using their most recent demographic record. *https://washingtonstatereportcard.ospi.k12.wa.us/ReportCard/ViewSchoolOrDistrict/103300
15 Regional Transition Consultants Assigned to work with the 9 Educational Service Districts Assist with the coordination and delivery of Pre-ETS Ensure availability and access to services DVR Staff Pre-ETS Focused
DVR Counselor Liaisons Assigned to every secondary school in the state Including public, private, charter, tribal, alternative learning programs Provide outreach to school staff, students, and families Provide consultation to IEPs Provide guidance to enroll in DVR services DVR Staff Transition Focused
Community Rehabilitation Providers (CRPs) Provides individualized Pre-ETS (to students on DVR caseloads) Specialty Service Providers may provide or include: Finance, Personal Trainer/Health Science, Manufacturing, Construction, IT, Hospitality, Landscape Maintenance/architecture, etc. Hellen Keller National Center (Deaf/Blind) Seattle Children's (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) Juvenile Rehabilitation Service Providers Group Service Providers Provides group Pre-ETS to potentially eligible students (to students not on DVR caseloads) Include ESDs, Community Colleges, Workforce Development Councils, business partners
