Wachusett Intramural Sports Program for Students with Disabilities
This intramural sports program is specifically designed for students with disabilities in the Wachusett Regional School District, providing opportunities for inclusive sports participation in basketball, hockey, and soccer. Sessions run on Monday evenings at the Glenwood School Gym, with transportation assistance by parents and support from Mountaineer Peers. Wachusett Intramural Sports Program Designed for Students with Disabilities
Program description This intramural sports program is designed for students with disabilities who attend school in, or through, the Wachusett Regional School District ages kindergarten to 21 years old
Three Sessions Session I, Session II, Session III Session I: November 6th- December 4th Basketball Session II: January 8th- February 12th Hockey (No session on January 15th) Session III: February 26th- March 26th Soccer
Program details Day: Monday evenings Time: 4:00-5:00 (Grade 6-Post graduate) 5:00-6:00 (K-Grade 5) Location: Glenwood School Gym
Other program details Transportation to be provided by parent, guardian, other Individual support to be provided by the Mountaineer Peers and parent volunteers Coaches are WRSD employees
Students will.. Be assigned to a team Receive a WRSD Team shirt Receive an award at the close of each season Have fun
