WAA Introduction and Umpire information Waconia Area Athletics needs umpires every summer for softball and baseball games from Late April through Early August There are roughly 250 games each summer that need umpires Games range from 9 years old to 15 years for baseball and 10 to 18 for softball There are recreational and competitive level games New umpires generally start with rec league games but we also need highly experienced umpires for our older age groups Anyone 15 or older can become an umpire for WAA If you have umpire experience or want to become a new umpire please contact Ivan Woyno at iwoyno@isd110.org or call 952-442-0616
