Mandarin Excellence Programme 4 hours each week of Mandarin teaching Specialist Mandarin teachers and access to a specialist Chinese Language Assistant Part-funded trip in Year 8 A funded UK residential trip in Year 9 Opportunity to follow the language through to A level and beyond Use of the Confucius Classroom Computing and D&T still provided and accessible

  30. Mobile Phones See it hear it lose it. Mobile phones are banned on the school site, unless authorised for use in a lesson by the teacher. We encourage all parents to go through the school to get messages to their daughters. Communication with Student Manager is important here. However, we use a common sense approach

Encourage debate and reflection on philosophical, moral and social debate in Tutor time and assemblies Promote strong female role models Encourage our students to be the first generation to smash the glass ceiling for women in the work place Statistics, research and reality is that women are under represented in leadership positions and Science / Technology / Engineering / Maths careers

  48. Your daughter will need: to wear her current school uniform pencil case to bring trainers for PE packed lunch or money for the Bistro ( 3) a water bottle any medication she needs, eg. Inhaler or Epipen
