Estonia, a modest country with a population of 1.3 million, is a pioneer in the digital world. With 99% of state services online, e-elections since 2005, and digital signatures saving 2% of GDP annually, Estonia boasts the most advanced digital society globally. It takes just 18 minutes to start a company online, and there are over 20,000 global e-residents. The country's EU Presidency in 2017 focused on open innovation, security, digitalization, and sustainability. Estonia's e-commerce sector is thriving, with high internet and e-commerce usage rates, diverse online shopping preferences, and innovative e-payment methods. Local businesses collaborate for international e-commerce success, exemplified by Estonian Post and SF Express's joint venture to enhance global cross-border e-commerce deliveries.
