Reviews and approves the prize list prior to publication Monitors Opening and Closing dates Processes all entries in accordance with rules Processes entry fees Maintains Wait List if appropriate Mails/emails entry confirmation to competitors Prior to the Show
Schedules Ride Times Notifies competitors of the schedule Prepares Horse/Rider roster Prints test sheets needed Prepares test sheets, labeled for each ride, in order for judge/scribe Prepares Day Sheets for staff Prepares score boards to post scores Prior To Show 2
Assigns rider/horse numbers Prepares stall charts Checks in competitors issues numbers, etc Before Show 3
Manages Show Office If scorers are used, monitors scorers for accuracy If no scorers, completes scoring Posts scores on score sheets Monitors test distribution Checks final scores for accuracy Post-show reports as needed During Show

Schedule rides one day after the closing date. Remember that the closing date is THE DATE THE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED When scheduling rides take the following into consideration: Riders sharing tack or horses Riders riding 2 different horse need time for tack changes Try not to have the same rider go first in each class or have riders go in the same order in two different classes If riders are coming from a distance don't give them the first ride of the day if possible. Try not to have too much time between rides for one rider such as several hours. Avoid Conflicts Scheduling
