  3. Examples of customer service job roles . oBusiness Administration roles oReceptionists oSales assistants oCall centre operatives

  4. oThis apprenticeship is for individuals working within a customer service environment. Who is this qualification for? . oThe role of a customer service practitioner is to deliver high quality products and services to the customers of their organisation. oYour core responsibility will be to provide a high quality service to customers which will be delivered from the workplace, digitally, or through going out into the customer s own locality. oYou may be the first point of contact and work in any sector or organisation type.

  5. Structure of programme . oThis is a level 2 apprenticeship standard that has a minimum duration of 12 months. o The typical duration is 12-15 months. Apprentices will be placed in a customer service role and supported by a tutor to achieve the Customer Service Practitioner standards

  6. oKnow your customers oKnow your company oMeet regulations and legislation - understand how to work within these frameworks. oUnderstand the systems and resources oUnderstand your role and responsibility oUnderstand the importance of customer experience oUnderstand how to build good relationships with customers and understand the importance of doing this. oGain product and service knowledge oUnderstand what your company sells and keep this knowledge up to date.   8. oIdentify/recruit talent suitable for the apprenticeship vacancy can be new or existing employees (STCG can help) What are the employers responsibilities? . oEnsure the apprentice undertakes real, productive work which gives them opportunities to access, develop, practice, and evidence the knowledge and skills required to meet the standard oAllow the apprentice to attend external off-the-job training and assessments as part of their paid working hours oTake part in regular reviews with the apprentice and training provider to review the apprentice's progress

  9. What are the employers responsibilities? . oEnsure that the apprenticeship lasts for a minimum of 12 months, and that the apprentice is employed for the full duration of their apprenticeship (including the time required for the end-point assessment) oConfirm, at the gateway, that the apprentice is occupationally competent (according to the standard). oEnsure all apprentices follow the HR policies of the organisation
