Emerging challenges Recruitment and resource: Bureaucracy and availability slowing implementation Budget: Clarity around WFWF recurring budgets; uncertainty around wider core budgets; alignment and reporting across funding Support, challenge and accountability: How to support CSPPs which are at earlier developmental stage; comms and engagement; understanding progress Cross-agency approach: Third sector engagement in planning and delivery; connections with child poverty activity Evaluation: Proportionality and supporting learning and delivery

  4. Priorities for 2023-24 Maintaining current activity Initiating new activity to address emerging learning Addressing emerging issues through design of activity

Proposed programme approach E1 Enabling local WFS activity across all CSPPs E2 National activity to support local whole system change: 3 collaborative partnerships, Learning into Action network, self assessment toolkit, evaluation and research, commissioning and procurement project Being considered: Cross-portfolio prevention activity; Third sector development; data and evidence; targeted local action E3 Cross portfolio policy led activity to support development of holistic family support services
