Overall Project Design Why does Jesus teach in Parables Design choices: Color scheme (include examples or hex numbers): Background : Green / #92b992 Text: Black, Text 1 / #000000 Text: White, Background 1/ #ffffff ENVIRONMENT: The e-learning module will be taught during the middle level bible study classes in the church. All devices that are used during this module are advised to have internet access. The type of module that the students will engage is through an active and interactive learning experience. The tool that will be used to present the module will be online Easy Generator. AUDIENCE: Middle level students ages 10-13years old Students from the Bible study classes @ Templo Sinai Students diverse from Hispanic Origin Font styles, sizes, colors (include font style name, size, and color for each element): Learning Objectives By the time the middle level students finish this eLearning lesson, they should be able to: 1. Correctly identify and discuss all three parables with 100% accuracy. 2. Illustrate one parable by presenting it as a poem, drawing, song or PowerPoint slide correctly. 3. Summarize and describe in their own words one parable accurately. Design Choices: Color scheme (include examples or hex numbers): Instructional Goal The middle level student will examine the Bible and use the appropriate technologies to establish an in- depth understanding of the three parables and be able to present an illustration. Text: Black, Text 1 / #000000 Instructional Analysis 1)Each student will need to have a Bible present during all study course a)Student will be given the three parables and are instructed to find them in the Bible. 2)Each student is encouraged to have a mobile or handheld device to complete the module a)Students will be given instructions to follow the module and complete tasks. 3)Each student will be able to listen and or read along with each parable a) Students are asked to bring in headphones for less distraction 4)Each student will complete and illustration of one parable and present it to the class a)Student will be creative in presenting their illustration (i.e. drawing, poem, song, PPT) Font styles, sizes, colors (include font style name, size, and color for each element): Text : Comic Scans MS 11, Black #000000 Learning Analysis Students will have basic knowledge of the Bible. There are many different Bible stories you may already know and have heard before but through this e-learning module we want to explore parables. What are parables? A parable is a short allegorical story designed to illustrate or teach some truth, religious principle, or moral lesson (APA). As a part of being a faithful Christian, by learning about parables will help us deal with life situations through a more spiritual and biblical aspect. Jesus was an artist in the telling of parables and told them in such a way that they were easy to visualize, and thus to remember (Graham, 2004). Allowing us to use this learning tool we hope this will encourage you to explore the Bible more often. Get ready to enjoy!
