Sustainability Why do we need to turn off the lights in the day? Because we waste electricity and for making electricity some energy companies burn coal and gas and it makes pollution. For pollution the Earth is getting hotter and for global warming it s causing tsunami, ice melting, forest burn and flood and animals are in danger. By Mushfiq and Valerio
For sustainable energy the energy companies need to put solar panel around the world. But they don t do that because coal and gas make energy companies rich and solar panels give us clean energy.
If we use sustainable energy like wind (wind turbines), water (water turbines) and light (solar panels) the Earth will be less hotter and animals will be safe.
Why we need to plant more trees? Because trees let us breathe and people burn forests. We need plant more trees because trees make earth less hotter. Trees give us food to eat and trees can clean water and produce clean air. Trees cover Earth land area.
What can you do? Turn off the lights during the day. Take a short shower. Convince people around you to save energy. Walk or bike if you can (instead of having your parents drive you). Put solar panels in your house. Plant more trees.
