2 4/4/2025 Course overview : 1. Wildlife is an essential branch of forestry. 2. Sufficient management of a forest cannot be achieved without intelligent management of wildlife. 3. Our wildlife heritage has to be maintained through their management.
3 4/4/2025 4- Many species reduced in numbers. Because of a loss of food, wildlife have either moved to more favorable areas or died from starvation. 5- Increase soil erosion hurt wildlife populations 6- Surface soil is essential to wildlife survival. it sustain the plants that provide living areas, food ,and shelter for wildlife.
4 4/4/2025 Course Objectives 1. Familiarize the students with our wildlife heritage. 2. Enable them to know the threatened and endangered species in our region. 3. What can we do to help wildlife? 4. In addition to that, taking a lot of administrative information about our wildlife to be applied in the future.
5 4/4/2025 Also in this subject: 1- You Will learn various kinds of wild animals in nature and how development and modifications that occurred on their bodies to adapt with different types of environments, especially the wild animals that live in the forest,
6 4/4/2025 2- knowing the advantages and disadvantages of these animals to the forest. 3- Also students should learn how to separate between orders and families of these animals within the animal kingdom. 4- And student will get benefit from this topic to see what types of wild animals existing now and extinct and the reasons for their extinction.
