5 Westinghouse Update Still waiting on inventory of Wilkinsburg Music Instruments Band Director that was hired decided to not accept the position. PPS is still looking to fill this position

WSD Enrollment Magnet Acceptances Program Class Program # of Acceptances CAPA Grade 9 4 Allderdice Pre-Engineering Grade 9 5 Obama Academy 9-12 Grade 9 1 No changes since last month. These are only preliminary results. Additional audits are being conducted of the magnet lottery. 12 magnet applications received for Wilkinsburg residents CAPA acceptances can have multiple acceptances (different art forms) CAPA can have double acceptance with non art related program We are not seeing 7thgraders because the spots are very limited! PPS Magnet programs start in 6thgrade, so our students do not get an open opportunity because the spots are already taken. There are only available spots if a student leaves the Magnet School.
