30 Minute Meeting I will send out information and answers to questions we don t address. There will be items I do not have answers/information about at this time. I promise to communicate as I receive them. Today I will address the three instructional options being offered, my primary focus will on the option for in-person learning. Wilkinson Parent Informational Meeting I want to explain the procedures we will be using and what that experience will be like. The district has determined the three options, but there is the opportunity for flexibility. The results of the commitment responses and the success that the state/country has in terms of COVID-19 will help guide our decisions and protocols as we move forward.
Three instructional modes described and explained Presentation of day to day protocols Agenda Q&A
10 students/2 teachers per classroom Social distancing in all classrooms and throughout the building In-Person Instruction Face masks are required for all teachers/adults *procedures and specifics in a few minutes
Synchronistic (mostly) will include live lessons, discussions, videos collaboration Microsoft teams Virtual Learning Still enrolled at Wilkinson ECC, but there is a possibility that SLPS may create classes of mixed schools Families will be able to change to In-person or Edmentum at end of 1stquarter October 16, 2020
Will not be Wilkinson teachers, but will be supported by SLPS counselors Online Learning - Edmentum Primarily student directed, read, watch, complete assignments and assessments A semester long commitment
