Operationalizing Claims Data for Analytics Foundational behind the scenes work to support standing up the Delaware Health Care Claims Database has been completed Work to maintain and improve data is ongoing Clinical and Alternative Payment Methods data will require the same initial foundational investment
Analytics Executive Summary Two new resources, approved as part of DMMA IAPD budget, will be added to: enhance our project intake process improve customer experience support project management Improve customer engagement update and enhance DSG guidelines deploy quality check automation solutions create resource capacity assist in supporting the project intake process We are also investigating opportunities to implement a collaborative real-time project management tool to improve communication and drive resource efficiency across the multiple organization supporting analytic work product. We are poised to develop additional data sources, deidentified clinical and alternative payment method, while also improving access to claims data, this will require enhancements to architecture, environments and deployment. Artifact retention, snapshots for comparative purpose and continuity Enhanced test to production deployment methodology Support of broader and more diverse work force and analytic tool set Need for bandwidth in the analytic space to enable consumption of larger data sets and improved processing power Schema design to enable easy integration shared roster and primary keys Fundamentally we see a shift from an individualized customer data services, to a universal democratized data model capable of sustaining a greater volume of work and variety of stakeholders and analytic solutions. 2
