Equity Plan Overview Merges funding and efforts from the Student Success and Support Program, the Basic Skills Initiative, and Student Equity into a single program Focused on boosting achievement as measured by specific success indicators Identifies the total number of students needed to achieve full equity
Goal Setting Methodology Equitable goal setting among differing demographics Identify the total number of students needed to achieve full equity, should the current student demographic remains fairly consistent California Community Colleges systems office data made available through the NOVA platform NOVA platform data created to align with student equity categories ensuring consistent application of metric definitions and clear equity goals

Equity Plan Activities Matriculation of High School Students Educational Plans for Dual Enrollment Increased and targeted outreach efforts and materials Online Counseling Program & Online Tutorial Service Targeted Advising and Communication to Students First Year Experience ME first campaign (Math and English First).
Student Success Committee Responsible for planning, reviewing, monitoring, and using student outcome data to inform the development and implementation of activities that enhance access, recruitment, retention, course completion, academic achievement and transfer opportunities for our students. The committee oversees the following: Academic Initiatives (e.g. Guided Pathways, Early Alert, AB 705, etc.) Integrated Plan (Basic Skills Initiative/SSSP/Student Equity Plan) Other areas as appropriate

Evaluation Plan Student Success Committee will create and evaluation criteria for activities and programs to insure college is on path to reach goals Yearly evaluation: Alignment with at least one goal of Equity Plan directly targeting specified student group. Progress towards meeting Equity Goal Evaluation of strengths, shortcomings and discussion of best practices Creation of Strategic plan given evaluation outcomes
