INTRODUCTION The act of marriage began in the Garden of Eden. It is one important teaching in the Bible It is God marriage between Adam and Eve of the most that started
Marriage is important because it is through marriage it we have the family and children are born The family is also important to the church because, if the family is well (the church which is made up of many families) will also be well Each member of the family have different roles to play in order to fulfil God s plan IMPORTANCE OF MARRIAGE
THE ROLES OF EACH MEMBER OF THE FAMILY: THE FATHER He is the head and leader in the family. He leads the family to pray and to obey God s word. He also provides for the needs of the family He loves the mother and the children and takes care of them
THE MOTHER She cooks and gives the family members food to eat. She takes everybody, especially the children. She teaches the children to love Jesus and obey God s word. She respects the father and teaches the children to show love, respect and honour care of
God demands total obedience from the children to their parents without going against God s word. In order to have peace and love in your family, as a child of God, you must watch against disobedience, bitterness, selfishness and rebellious behaviours When you are a friend of Jesus and you obey God s word, your family will be an image of God s kingdom on earth Your family will be happy and blessed Always spend time to pray for your family to be what God wants it to be THE CHILD/CHILDREN
