WHAT SHOULD ISMAIL DO? Ismail is 16, he's in year 11 and doing his GCSEs. On top of his studies, he works part-time in a pizza restaurant that is next to a big cinema complex. His working hours vary, but they always increase when there is a big, popular film release. As well as studying for his GCSEs, he trains regularly with the local rugby team who are progressing to the national finals. As a result, the team want Ismail to commit to more training hours with them. Ismail is starting to struggle to manage all his commitments. What could Ismail do to improve his situation? Jennifer is currently on a call with a customer who has limited IT skills and is very annoyed that they are experiencing difficulties on their website. SCENARIO 2 - TAMMY Worksheet Tammy is a manager at a care home. She is struggling to find a care worker that is suitable. The job includes working with vulnerable people who would benefit from seeing the same carers at the same time most days. Tammy also needs to find someone that would enjoy talking to the people in the care home and find it rewarding helping those in need prosper and do well. SCENARIO 3 - MONTEL Worksheet Montel works for a recording studio as a music producer. He works with artists and bands when they are recording singles and albums. The musicians rely on him to come up with suggestions for how the songs could be improved and think of new ways to produce a song that don't sound like other bands or artists. He needs to convince musicians that his ideas will work! Montel also manages a team of audio engineers and needs to ensure they are managing the recording equipment, so nothing goes wrong in the studio when a song is being recorded.
