Our curriculum, French, Computing, Music Science Topics will include: Evolution and Inheritance Living things and their habitats Light Animals including humans Electricity and circuits History topics will include: The Vikings Bolton during World War II Ancient Greeks Geography topics will include: Fair trade Recycling/ pollution Africa

PE Kit Bring to school for the half term Black gym shoes or trainers Black shorts or black tracksuit bottoms or black PE skirt (weather appropriate) Plain white t-shirt School jumper can be worn over PE kit All clothes and bags to be labelled with the child s name. No jewellery or headscarves to be worn for safety reasons. Quick release headscarves can be bought from the school office.

School uniform red sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan white polo shirt/ shirt/ blouse charcoal grey skirt, playsuit or trousers flat black shoes (not trainers) if the girls wear head scarves, these should be plain black and shoulder length No leggings or trousers under skirts grey tights or white socks Boys grey socks During the summer the girls may wear red and white school dresses and the boys may wear charcoal grey school shorts Discrete hair bands

Home Learning Planner and school reading book 3 times a week Homework will be checked everyday Mirodo Maths Mirodo Grammar Reading Plus Spelling Shed CGP SATs revision/question books (provided by school closer to SATs) Children can attend breakfast club to complete their homework. 50p entry will include breakfast. There will be a treat at the end of the year for all children who have completed all of their homework every week.

  11. Parental Support Make sure your child brings everything they need to school Encourage them to take part in extra-curricular activities and after-school clubs. Make sure homework has been completed and spellings learnt by a Friday Listen to your child read three times a week, comment and sign the diary. Make sure your child is in school on time. 08:40 collected from the playground. Anyone arriving after 9am, should go to the office to collect a late slip. At 3:30 unless your child has written permission to walk home on their own, they will be kept at school until collected by a named adult. A password must be provided.
