What will change? Students in Year 7 8, and 9 do 12 subjects Students in Year 10 and 11 will do 8 subjects
How do I know which choices to make? Your ability - what are you good at? Your likes and dislikes 2 years is a long time!
What not to do Choose subjects just to be with your friends Do something new just because it is new - investigate it first
Core subjects English Maths Science All three will be studied
What are the subjects? You will end up with 4 option subjects Art, Craft and Design Business (Enterprise) Child Development Dance (not with Sport) Digital Information Technology Drama Food and Nutrition French Geography Graphics History Music Product Design Religious Education Sport (not with Dance) Geography History 2. Rank these subjects 1. Choose one from this list
The Process Options Booklet sent home via parentmail and given out at parents evening on 2nd March Complete the form sent out via parentmail by Friday 17th March at the latest All pathways will be confirmed by letter in Summer term
