The Youthful Driver Subcommittee is actively working on various projects to enhance driver training accessibility and reach out to young drivers. Initiatives include a virtual driving assessment pilot project, developing new materials, and collaborating with different organizations. Ongoing Action Items Virtual Driving Assessment Pilot Project Moving on to instructor feedback - Will be completed by November Develop a network/platform of youthful driver programs and materials that can be easily accessed Update website date TBD Develop new materials (electronic permit packet) Fall 2022 Identify ways to make driver training more accessible to all populations Work with Jobs and Family Services/Foster Care - date TBD Work with Ohio Department of Insurance date TBD

  3. Ongoing Action Items Juvenile Court Project Extending MOUs with Courts ODPS to conduct analysis of project data in 2023 Drive to Live OSHP Goal of reaching 50,000 youth in 2023 On target to reach goal; 15,000 reached so far
