Applied competence and reflection type questions should account for 30% of the question paper.
Summary: Revised Practical Assessment Task (PAT) Practical tasks will be assessed in TERM 1, 2&3. Practical Activities in Term 4 only serve as Formative Tasks and will not be formally assessed. The practical skills and knowledge will be reflected in the written TEST.
Conclusion The main principle and approach to the mediation was mainly that content in TERM 1, 2, 3 & 4 was compared and identified repetitions. Removed content which was covered in TERM 1 and can be done away with in TERM 2,3 & 4 respectively. ANNEXURE 1 captured the content repeated and can be done away with in respective terms.
Conclusion Some topics have been integrated into exercises, art elements and principles of design. Some topics, i.e. Create in 3D has been omitted given to time constraints and resource demands Some topics, i.e. Create is 2D, painting can be replaced by colour pencil drawing Term 2 in grade 8, has only one hour, so it can be devoted for baseline lesson plan to identify learner s current knowledge and revision of term 1.
