  3. WHO IS AKON? Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam Singer/ songwriter and record producer Also did a bit of acting Became a big name after his debut album Trouble

AKON LIGHTING AFRICA Started in 2014 Akon, Thione Niang, and Samba Bathily Idea gotten after Thione had lived in village with no electricity Bathily provided his solar power company and worked together to light up Africa Provides lighting and energy to over 14 countries in Africa Provided 5000 people (mainly young) with jobs to install lights and services

  5. VOCATIONAL CALLING Grew up in Senegal, a country with limited electricity and resources Because of his hard childhood, he decided to do something for others in his position
