Conclusion: Prospective Economic Sectors Czech brand is still popular in sub-Saharan Africa Two sides of Nigeria: very prospective market/many structural challenges Energy sector Growing demand in the construction, agriculture, water and oil industries. Lack of electricity and obsolete energy infrastructure often causes power blackouts Defense industry Participation in the modernization of the Nigerian army Nigeria is one of the largest contributors to UN peacekeeping operations (1,667 troops in 2017) Railway transportation Development and rebuilding of tram lines and new railway networks Automotive Two large cities in Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) have recently launched a public bus service. Nigerian government announced the so-called New Automotive Policy, which aims to curb car imports and to revive local automobile production Agriculture and food processing industry Nigerian government considers reforming of agriculture and the development of the food industry to be one of its main priorities.
