F.A.Q Can my child resit their examination? There is 1 resit opportunity this can take place in June 2020 or during year 11. This will be decided on an individual student basis. There is only 1 reattempt opportunity. What does my child have to do in coursework 1? In coursework 1, students design a business plan, to do this they have to come up with a business idea. This will be researched and discussed extensively so it is very important they are passionate about their idea. What does my child have to do in coursework 2? In coursework 2, students pitch their business plan and evaluate their idea. Who marks the coursework? All coursework is marked by the class teacher and then moderated by the examination board. Coursework can be updated and changed based on teacher feedback.
PASS LEVELS IN THE EXAMINATION Students will get a level 1 or a level 2 outcome in their examination and coursework. Level 2 = GCSE equivalent so this is our aim. These are inflated to 120 when results are released.
