REQUIREMENTS: 40 IPUS FROM 6 DOMAINS IPU Sources Domains Cleaning, Sterilization, Disinfection, Asepsis Education and Research Employee/ Occupational Health Identification of Infectious Disease Processes Management and Communication Preventing/Controlling the Transmission of Infectious Agents Surveillance and Epidemiologic Investigation APIC National Conference = 10 IPUs covering all 8 domains Organizational Educational offerings (local Chapter APIC Conferences) Publications Presentations Online, paper, or live format education Professional organization participation (local APIC Chapter board position) Academic education, teaching, research
