The Day following the Co-curricular Activity When No Practice or Competition is Scheduled: Again Students are required to be in attendance the ENTIRE school day unless excused by one of the above excuses. An emergency situation is defined as an unexpected, dangerous situation that involves a student s personal safety and requires immediate action (i.e. car accident, etc.)
9th, 10thand 11thgrade students must carry 7 credits to be eligible for co-curricular activities. Seniors must be full time to participate. Early Grads need to carry a minimum of 2.0 credits per trimester/semester. A course that is dropped with a final grade of F will not be counted towards the minimum credits required to participate in co-curricular activities.
Grades will be monitored closely! (Student 1st) At the end of the Trimester/Semester Students with one F for their last Trimester/Semester grades will be allowed to participate as long as they have at least a 2.0 GPA KHS Rule (WIAA does not require a 2.0 GPA) Spring trimester/semester grades count towards fall eligibility Normal time frame by WIAA rule 15 school days from time grades are issued and then students need to be passing ALL of their classes Fall athletes face a different time schedule based on a WIAA formula by start date and number of games.

Grades will be monitored at progress report time/quarter again this year. Students receiving any failing grades and/or incomplete grades and who do not meet the above criteria will be placed on academic probation During this time period, students are still eligible to participate in co-curricular activities. At the end of the 5 days of academic probation, students who are not passing all classes will become ineligible to participate for the next five school days. Student grades will then be checked once every 5 school days after that until a student regains eligibility or trimester/semester grades are issued.
Dropped classes that result in the student, who does not meet the other above academic eligibility requirements, receiving an F and render a student ineligible for the remainder of the Trimesters/Semesters.

If a student-athlete attends a party or event where illegal behavior is occurring, then the student-athlete is expected to leave immediately.
