  4. Strengths There is a lot of teacher data and it s friendly. There is cumulative data. It has videos and anchor chart. The data of this software is very telling. It is easy to navigate. It is easy to understand. The software is user friendly and accessible from any place. It has extra lessons to address bilingual instruction and notifications when form are due (get emails). I am better versed using it and uploading writing samples. I use it to monitor bilingual students. Some of the strengths of Ellevation are that we can go in there and look at cumulative record of the bilingual students. We can look at the previous writing. We can look at what the teachers had uploaded. We can gather information to have a starting point for the students, along with accommodations. This facilitated the process with the bilingual clerk. It has good strategies and activities for all students, not just bilingual. For new teachers, it has lots of strategies for learning. They can use for ELL or any student. I like that it has a lot of the hands on activities. It separates our groups based on ability. BROWNSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

  5. Areas of Need The strategies from the scope and sequence that are linked are not taking directly to the suggested activity. The updates take 48 hours when students come in. It has good ideas and lessons, but they are watered down. The kids at this school are at a higher level, so the lessons are not as rigorous. Teachers need more time to explore what is available because the tool seems to offer more. Some of the lessons are kind of generic, nothing new. For a new teacher it is very helpful. For advanced or veteran teachers, there is nothing new. BROWNSVILLE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT
