Connecting with People in Victorian Institutions for Support | P.S. Project
Zoe and Heather, funded by DFFH, are aiding those who lived in Victorian institutions with little family support. They collaborate with transfer services to provide advocacy, NDIS plans, and relationships assistance. The initiative will involve a questionnaire and a Community of Practice. VALID is connecting with people who: Lived in a Victorian institution Have no or only a little bit of family support Only have paid services for support
Zoe and Heather are working with the 5 transfer services: SCOPE, MELBA, ARUMA, Life Without Barriers and Possability to identify who has or needs support with: Support for decision making Advocacy (Independent) NDIS plans that meet the needs of each person Relationships and friendships
VALID will do this in 2 ways: 1. Questionnaire 2. Community of Practice
