  1. What is an animal? There are at least two major forms of living things: Plants Animals How are plants different from animals? Plants use carbon dioxide to make food. They give off oxygen in the process. Animals must take in oxygen to breathe and live. They give off carbon dioxide. Plants have almost no / very limited ability to sense. Animals have much more highly developed sensory and nervous systems.

  2. Can you give the name of each of the following animals? Hint: They are shown in A, B, C, D ... order.
