Ms. Boudreauxs Classroom Procedures and Expectations
#1: Come into class quietly - Find your seat and begin bellringer work on sheet of looseleaf - No talking at this time unless told otherwise
#2: Raise your hand to do anything in my classroom - - - To give something to a neighbor To speak To throw trash or get something from the student section - To leave the classroom (DO NOT walk out of my class if you have already entered it)
#3: Library Voices Any task that requires partner/group work in class should be discussed in a library voice (Hushed tone) - If the noise level gets too high I will take away your talking privileges for my class.
#4: If you are absent - Come into class and go directly to the Make Ups organizer. Take what is marked with the day you were absent. If you missed a test: let me know and I will pull you for RTI or let you make it up on my designated make up day. DO NOT walk into class and say, Ms. Boudreaux, what did I miss yesterday, I was absent. - -
#5: Restroom - No one is allowed to go to the bathroom during my class time, unless it is an EMERGENCY or you have a doctor s excuse to do so. - If an emergency presents itself, take the Blue Bathroom Pass and fill out your name, date, time out, and time in.
#6: Seating Arrangements - - Alphabetical order No one is allowed to move seats unless their vision or hearing is at stake.
#7: When I am talking - - When someone is talking at the front of the classroom, all eyes and ears should be on them; all other mouths closed show some respect! There should be no other voices heard except mine.
#8: My belongings and Your belongings - - - Do NOT touch my stuff. No one is to go near my desk unless told to. Your belongings should be kept neatly in your backpack/under your desk your backpack should be kept on the left side of your desk. You have access to the Student Sectionlocated to the far right of the classroom. There you will find everything you need for the class period. Loose leaf paper is on the cart next to my desk. -
#9: Packing up and Exiting the Classroom - When you are told to pack up; do so and remain seated. - You are dismissed when the bell rings unless told otherwise.
#10: RESPECT Others - If you respect me, I will return the favor. - I am familiar with the Code of Conduct and the H-Drive system. - Love your neighbor and RESPECT them you do not get to chose groups or partners in my class unless you deserve to.
#11: If I am absent and there is a Substitute with you - Be on your BEST behavior - Listen to their instructions and obey them They are the teacher that day. If the sub has to write your name down because of bad behavior, you will receive lunch detention when I return. -
#12: Test Day Procedure - Come into class quietly and take out your study materials. - You will always have 5 minutes to look over your study materials before a test, unless you are instructed not to do so. - Take out a pencil or raise your hand and ask me to get one from the student section. - To turn in a written test or any worksheet for my class place it in your class bin at the student section. Sit quietly read a book, draw, work on something from another class after you finish your test.
