Factors Balance Posture Separation Direction Rhythm
Consistent and Correct -Build confidence -Reinforce -Generate feeling
Cause/ Effect -Start early in process of throw -What to do, not what to avoid
Issues Crashing/Diving Over-rotation Losing separation Shifting on finish Collapsing in stand
Shifting in Stand Throw -Open, low left foot -Hold angle of release -Active lower body -Stay in cylinder -Turn into linear strike
Over- Rotating -Wind the middle -Pin shoulders back -Feel the left side -Set direction on drive (right sector) -Legs go together on drive***
-Shoulders on top of hips -Shoulders level -Push out, not left -DRIVE hips ahead of upper body to middle -Drive sooner, simultaneous -Land on top of right Crashing/ Diving
Losing Separation -Set-up on wind -DRIVE (push/pull) - Hide shot from sector -Left side long/big chest to middle (square)
