Are you distracted easily? At the beginning very determined! After 10- 15 minutes you may be distracted by:
Tip 1: Find a suitable study environment clean minimal distraction-free boost your productivity considerably! If you are easily distracted by others, you should do revision alone.
Tip 2: Remove distractions from sight in front of you absolutely necessary for your revision / assignment textbooks & stationery ONLY! Things that you don t need (phones, magazines, etc.) for the task at hand should be put away and out of sight!
Tip 3: Disconnect from the Social World Turn your phone on silent turn off notifications Remember! The world won t end if you re not connected for 30 minutes You can always update others statuses after your revision!
Tip 4: Stick to a routine, efficient study schedule Accommodate your day/night time energy levels Regular time assigned for homework, revision and rest
Tip 5: Change subjects Change the subject you study every one to two hours for variety So you won t feel bored so easily
Tip 6: Take strategic breaks every 20 to 30 minutes stand up leave your desk (to walk, stretch, go for a jog, etc.) benefits your muscles and joints allows your mind to relax and reset
Tip 7: Motivate yourself Create an incentive for successfully completing a task Examples: call a friend a food treat a walk
Tip 8: Avoid unhealthy snacks Avoid snacks candies, chips, instant noodles, etc. Avoid energy drinks or soft drinks contain a whole bunch of calories with NO essential nutrients Too much of these your health! bad for
