INTRODUCTION Egg donation in India is subject to strict rules under the ART Act 2021 and the Surrogacy Regulation Act 2021. Egg donation is restricted to married women between the ages of 21 and 35who have at least one biological child. There is no payment permitted; the procedure is selfless.
