Cubs ENTERTAINER BADGE
Hello, I am Earnest the Entertainer And today we are going to be looking at how we can entertain people and yourselves. Entertainment has always been very important to people without it we could never relax. Entertainment is simply put, something designed to capture and hold some one attention and in most cases create feeling of happiness and joy. Can you think of any forms of entertainment that you enjoy? Entertainment TV Gaming Painting Playing Puzzels Music Dancing Movies Reading Comedy Here are a few I came up with.
STORY TELLING Story telling is one of the oldest methods of entertainment and is still massive today. When we tell a story anything can truly happen! What kind of stories do you like? I personally really like Fantasy and Science Fiction Also did you know that Thursday March the 4th is World book day? how many books have you ever read?
MAKING A STORY You know something, all this talking of story's makes me want to hear some. I want you to tell me a story. Don t worry I will help you The subject can be anything you want to write about. I would never dream of disrupting your creative minds I know these will be great and also entertaining.
MAKING A STORY Things to Consider If its possible you can work in groups Genre Is it a fantasy world, science fiction, or something else. Characters Who are your characters Goal what is the goal of your story. Beginning How to introduce your characters, world setting and goals. Middle The bulk of your story and character interactions. End Conclusion of your story and what has happened to your characters. Here are a few things to consider when making your story
MAKING A STORY Your Leader will now tell you how much time you have to write a short story it only needs to be a couple of minutes long. It can also be a strange or realistic as you want. Also if you want you can tell your story in pictures rather than words or both! As pictures are a form of story telling too! Do we have enough time to listen to these stories? If not im sure you can send them to your leader or read them next time you meet.
DANCING So while you were away writing your stories I was reading more on the entertainer badge And do you know what I discovered? That dancing is one of the Criteria, oh this is going to be fun! So now we are going to to listen to some music and you have to dance.

On a serious note though, I really enjoyed our time together and I even learned some new dance moves Well I must say that I am really entertained, your dancing is doing to have me laughing for weeks! But remember if you ever find yourself bored try picking up a book or listening to some music or any of the other types of entertainment we live in a time when we have so much! For now I will say fair well and hopefully see you around sometime soon.
