DWG Update DWG WebEx meeting held on 12/11/2024 PGRR122 (Reliability Performance Criteria for Loss of Load) ERCOT provided background and presented on PGRR122 DWG had concerns with current language, mostly around ownership Discussion will continue in next DWG meeting PGRR121 and NOGRR272 (AGS Requirements for Inverter-Based ESRs) ERCOT introduced PGRR121 and NOGRR272 DWG had a few comments and sees the need DWG needs more time for detailed review of requirements Discussion will continue in next DWG meeting
DWG Update, continued Potential PGRR for SSWG Case Security ERCOT presented draft language for potential PGRR DWG will provide feedback and looks forward to proposal NERC 2024 Case Quality Metrics Assessment Texas RE presented on NERC s assessment of Texas Interconnection cases For both Power Flow and Dynamics, two metrics improved, while three worsened NERC requested focus on three key areas The full assessment is available on NERC s website
DWG Update, continued PGRR120 (SSO Prevention for Generator Interconnection) ERCOT presented on the background and language of PGRR120 Some felt the option for TSP projects should exist DWG needs more time to discuss and will do so next DWG meeting Potential Updates to ERCOT SSR Study Scope Guidelines ERCOT presented on potential updates to SSR Study scope DWG will review and provide comments to ERCOT DWG will discuss next DWG meeting
DWG Update, continued Flat Start Case Development Updates ERCOT provided an update on the 2024/25 Flat Start cases Final pass package will be posted on 1/23/2025 Targeting DWG approval by 1/30/2025 Large Load Modeling and Stability Study Discussion DWG is developing a screening process for large load stability studies More discussion is necessary, but proposals and progress continue Proposals were sent out to DWG for comments Discussion will continue next DWG meeting 2025 DWG Meeting are posted on DWG landing page
