Pros Death with dignity Will end suffering Not open for everyone, must be eligible Looks at quality of life
Cons Ending a life prematurely Could go against the Hippocratic oath Unethical to take a life
Leadership State senators Lois Wolk and Bill Monning Doctors take a leadership role in determining mental health Ultimately up to the patient
Identity Religious people tend to see this as unethical Identity determines ethics Politics also play a role in identity Patient s identity is what matters in the end
