Using Microsoft Excel 2010 The spreadsheet application uses Microsoft Excel to manipulate tables and data.
Microsoft Excel 201 The file extension created by Excel 2010 is XLSX. The file type in the Excel application is called Workbook or Book.A workbook consists of worksheets. The default number of worksheets for one workbook is 3 worksheets. One worksheet consists of Columns and Rows. Each column has a name which is the letters A,B,C,... and each line has a number 1,2,3,... . The intersection of the column and the line makes a cell. Each cell has an address that is the column name and line number.The number of columns in one worksheet is 256, and the number of lines is 256.The number of lines x the number of cells in one worksheet is the product of the number of columnsIt equals 65,536 cellsUse an app
Microsoft Excel 201 Application Interface The Formula Bar is one of the distinguished bars for the Excel application, and it consists of two parts: the firstis the cell address, and the other contains the cell's content.
File tab It includes the same instructions as in the Word application, including:Open : Opens an inventory workbook.Save: Store the workbook for the first time or save changes madeon him.SaveAs..: Store a second copy of the workbook.New: Create a new workbook.Print: Print the workbook.Colse: Close the current workbook
cell content The orientation of the worksheet must be determined before entering the data, and this is done from the Sheet Right-to-Left tool on the Page Layout tab. Cell content is either Text, Numbers, or DatesDate, Currency, Percentage, or FormulaSports Formula .Installing the data in the cells is done either by pressing the Enter key and it will move toThe next cell within the same column. Or from the Tab key and it will move toThe next cell is within the same line.Or by using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Or by clicking in any other cell.
Selecting Cells A single cell is selected with a single mouse click.As for selecting an entire line, it is done with a single stroke on the line number.To select an entire column, click on the column name.As for selecting a concatenated group of cells, it is done using Drag fromThe first cell in the range to the last cell, for example, the range A3-B6.And for the purpose of selecting a separate group of cells is done using Click + Ctrl
Line and column formatting From instructing Format in the Home tab, you can:Determine the height Height.Setting the height depending on the font size AutoFit Row HeightSpecify the width of the Column Width column.Specifies the width based on the longest cell content AutoFit Column Width.Show or hide lines and columns Hide/ Unhide.As for the Format Cell, it includes changing the font size and colorFont, cell content, cell ground color change, text alignmentin the of the line Row cell ... etc.
