Financial and Employment Support Team Case Study Circumstances: Phone call from CBH tenant asking for help towards her energy as she has been living without any electricity for 5 days The customer suffered with depression and social anxiety. She did not have a working cooker, a TV or other household items. She stated that she was not getting any support from her family. Internal outcomes: A full benefit check was completed. It was identified that she was claiming all eligible benefits 150 Discretionary CTR payment was awarded due to current financial hardship Working with partners: A referral was made to Warm Homes Essex for emergency electricity vouchers Foodbank referral made and parcel delivered A referral to CBH Financial Inclusion Team who gifted and delivered a cooker and TV A referral made to C360 for befriending support and Essex Wellbeing Service for social isolation support With the customer s permission, Adult Social Care were contacted to prompt the GP to review her medication
