Provide responsive counseling interventions to support the immediate concerns of students. Provide individual and group sessions Advocate for students and families Support colleagues through consultation and education Support students in developing personal and social awareness that support their development of positive, health enhancing behavior. (Coping skills and peer relations) Support and guide students in planning, monitoring and managing their academic and career development.

Credits are points earned in each class. Students can earn 8 credits per school year if they pass every class. The lowest passing grade is a 67. They must attend 1 year of school and earn a minimum of 5 credits in 4 required subjects (English, Math, Science, PE, and Social Studies) to be considered a 10th grader.
Students must be present 167 days per school year 5 absences 1 Credit Course 2.5 absences- .5 credit course Parents notes can be used for the first 5 absences.

At mid-quarter (for each 4 quarters) teachers send deficiency reports for students with a D or F. At end of Quarter 1 & 3, parents may access progress reports on Parent Portal Or parents may request a copy of progress report from teacher Reports cards are distributed at end of quarter 2 and 4 (Mid Oct. & End Dec.)

If students are considering taking Spanish I as 10thgraders they will need 2.0 GPA in Algebra I and English I to take the course. TOPS changes for the class of 2020 and 2021. TOPS Honors- ACT 27-36 and GPA 3.5 ($800) TOPS Performance- ACT 23-26 and GPA 3.25 ($400) TOPS Opportunity-ACT 20 and GPA 2.5
