Phase 1A HCM Deployment Objectives HCM within Financials First Why HCM is Required HCM is a workstream or module within Financials Team HCM built to support Financials scope of Phase 1A; but positions HCM for success Create a framework that garners least risk for future HCM implementation Configure minimal HCM tasks with a placeholder Financials First Supervisory Organization Minimal configuration values to support that is not intended for Employee Self- Service or Manager Self-Service/Approval features like expense reports or purchase requisitions Load only workers who require a security role for Financial data entry or data analysis Access to Financials requires a Workday account and security roles. A Workday account and user-based security roles can only be assigned to an existing person type (employee or contingent worker). Other security groups are assigned to positions. A framework will be created to facilitate simplified transactional processing of positions and staffing actions.
